Blast from the past! For many years, I've wanted to do a Minneapolis Moline dealer rig. Since White Motor Company owned both Minneapolis Moline and Reo, I thought why not make THIS that project? By the early 1960s, Minneapolis Moline tractors were painted in a combination of "Energy Yellow" and a rather unflattering (to me) bronze kinda color. I didn't want to find a color I wasn't fond of, so I opted for something similar but with a little more pop... Enter Tamiya Copper. The hood and cab are now slathered in Tamiya White Primer, in preparation of what will likely be Tamiya Camel Yellow. I bought these adhesive decals from Bossen Implement years ago. These will not only carry the theme, but enable me to work around the Reo letters and emblem problem... The larger MM letters will go on the hood sides. The White logo may end up on the radiator access panel.

Rear lamps ✔️  License plate ✔️ Mud flaps ✔️ Well, one end of the truck is in the bag.

Totally fixed it !  I really like that visual line with the sleeper right over the same size toolbox. That looks terrific 😎 Johnny

Yikes!!!  It's been almost 4 months since  the last update.....   Have not had much time in the hobby room due mostly to work, going into a slower part of the year so hopefully more free time... It's a roller! Finally got it up on all fours...scratch built rubber air line and frame fitting (Right front).   The entanglement of wires and etc. on the Left front of the engine is what will be going into the cab to represent electrical, tach drive and  air lines.     Kind of hard to see, scratch built rubber power steering lines between power steering pump and steering ram cylinder  Scratch built a shifter cable between transmission and what will end up in the cab area...kind of hard to see...its on what is the bottom side of the transmission and towards the rear in the picture.   Up next is installing the PTO pump and shaft and wiring and installing the battery box.

Making progress, wheelset together, brakes finished, mud flap built, adding a tool box. Finish work then paint.

Cut down the pass through and repositioned the exhaust for a closer fit between cab and sleeper. Yeah... That's better. 😁 Cab clearance lamps are also in place.

It's had the door logos for a while now... Pump & Dump 🤣 Here you can see the completed battery box.   Here we have the fuel tank, but I might replace it with a smaller round tank below the door.

Lookin' real good! Kinda pretty much almost not quite enough wheelbase for that fabulous Mercury sleeper tho 🤔 But it sure would be a shame to leave the Mercury on the shelf, so how bout like three or four more feet of frame with the Mercury and the headache rack? Gotta love a large car 😎 Johnny
