vincen47 Posted October 19, 2020 Really nice looking truck, plays the part of a cared-for, well-maintained truck. I wonder how much torque those gas engines were good for?

I wonder how much torque those gas engines were good for? Thanks Vince!! The 450 was actually the Super Red Diamond. It was 450C.I.D. with 182hp @ 3000 rpm and 388 ft. lb. of torque at 1600rpm. This compared to the available Cummins C160 which had 160hp and 376ft. lb. of torque at 1400rpm. There was also the optional supercharged C180 Cummins that had 180 hp and 425 ft. lb. of torque @ 1700 rpm. Edited October 19, 2020 by DRIPTROIT
