After about 10 years I finally got the Rig off the bench. I added many custom parts to the truck and swapped the wheels on the trailer for some 6 hole steelies. The front 5 hole Alcoas I made from Don Mills and adding the AMT snap ring to it. Truck and Trailer decals were made by “ Goochie” many years ago.

Thanks so much for checking in. I’ve been working on it here and there the past few months, doing more body work, mostly fixing small blemishes. In between, I built a Volvo VN 670, which I’ll post here soon. It gets a little tedious just doing body prep on a scratchbuilding project, so it’s nice to do a “quicker” kit project to break it up. I’ve done at least two more rounds of filling/sanding/primer on the stacker since the last post. I’m hoping that I’m nearing the end of the prep process and I can start paint soon. I’ll do an update when I’m ready for paint. Thanks again.

Does anyone know if someone makes the square pit fenders for the AMT and the Revells Peterbilts? Thank you in advance for any response.

Thanks Brian, I don’t judge, so I don’t what they look for. Thank you for the kind words.

...I have been a contest judge for a few years now with the local club (both AMPS and IPMS)...viewing this thru a 1280 x 720 resolution monitor screen (aprox. 22" across by 14" tall) this is easily a a top 5 ..top 3 build.  Don't sell your self short with this one.
