AMT White Western Star on the bench
DRIPTROIT 71 replied to Jersee Jerry55's topic in Model Truck Workbench
I like the color!! On the hinges, I would make my own. I'm not a big fan of the kit hinges anyway. I use dollhouse hinges from Hobby Lobby cut in half. On the brake cylinders, these have wedge brakes just like the Freightliner kit which can easily found at Hobby Lobby and gotten with a 40% off coupon. -
My Fathers Day gift

Looking forward to seeing this built! I would suggest KJ at Double Take Replicas for the visor. He has them for $4.00. His quality is great and his service is second to none. -
This is a cab kit and fuel tanks from A.I.T.M.. The Frame and many other components came from the AMT R Model Mack. The Engine is a 6-71 from Gary Wallace. The transmission is a 5 speed. The tires are from Double Take Replicas. Welcome aboard! I use Flickr, 1000 photos can be uploaded free. It was much larger but they changed it. I had to delete about 6000 pictures. So if you see one of my posts missing pictures that's why.😀

This one is meant to represent a restored fleet truck. It is a combination of the DM 600 kit and the R-Model kit. The rear tires, wheels and suspension are from A.I.T.M.
