Awesome color! -
WoW! That would have been hard on the drivers in that beast.

That is one sweeet....smelling....rig. 😁
-
That looks sharp !

An early support vehicle. Cool! Funny how things change, now the support vehicles are part of the race.

That is looking so cool. Parts box build, awesome!

Welcome Lee, and I am sure you build just fine.
-
Glad to see you bring it out and wash it off. Bet it feels good to get it back on the bench.

Will be getting out the popcorn for this one.

I have seen so many of these boom trucks in Wyoming. Even used one once to pull an engine. You nailed it Paul !

So cool as a shorty. 👍

Welcome aboard Vince !

This thing is off the charts ! I hate to ask what's next on the bench, each one seems to be better than the one before.

I would say yes to the lift gate as well.

This one I started yesterday. Another well built old build. Almost no paint or glue. In just a few hrs I had it pretty much blown apart. Now I have to figure out what color I want it. 😁

Good, because I am working on one of those as well. 😄 The view...
-
There is just something about red and black... 😍
-
Glad you like yellow because I also have this in a box of trailer parts....and I have never done a wooden deck...

So I think I figured out what direction I am going with this finally. The dump box really wasn't working for me, so I am putting a fifth wheel on it, changing out the wheels and tires, maybe modifying the front bumper, and oh yea, it's going to be yellow.

Hey all, Been a closet model truck fan for decades but built my first one about five years ago, then boxed everything up and moved 1400 miles, then built my second one last month. lol My father-in-law drives truck, and has for over half of his 74 years. The last 35+ have been behind the wheel of a dump truck, first was a 1983 Mack, and Kenworth since 1996, his current ride being a 2017 T800. I have collected most of the needed parts to replicate both the Mac and the Kenworth. He also drove for CF years ago and I have collected things for that as well. I also came across a huge collection of truck stuff five years ago. So I am pretty much set for life when it comes to trucks. I actually bought a set of fenders five years ago from the parts store but just found out about the forum today. I have been building models since I was 5 but consider myself a total ignoramus when it comes to trucks. I look forward to watching, learning, and hopefully being able to contribute some, to what looks like a site full of valuable information. Sam
