Spent the morning fixing a couple of broken mirrors on some Western Stars. That must have bumped the planets back into alignment, because I dug out a stalled truck project! The Fleetstar now has a windshield gasket (and a quick test fit of the "glass" was encouraging), and the wheelbase is now 24 scale inches shorter.

Nice one . I really like that color combo.

Welcome aboard.

I will say that even a naturally-aspirated Detroit V8 is a bit of a tight squeeze under there, but it is doable. I grew up near Lansing, so I've always had a fondness for these old warhorses.

Love the way it's shaping up. I've seen this cab before, but I've never really been impressed by the Frontier stuff I've seen. But this one does look better than their '59 Chevy cab (which I have), and you're proving something nice can be made from their castings... maybe I should pick one up. I've always wanted to build a fiberglass-nosed Transtar.

That came out perfect! Nice buildup of a rare old rig.

OK.... where'd you get the fan?

Looking better and better all the time! Love the subtle weathering effects on the exhaust.

Nice! Thinking of possibly casting this when it's done?

Cool! I really wish Revell would reissue this one.

Very nice!

I love seeing what people do with these Revell snappers.

Other than replacing the broken glovebox handle and addressing the legendary Impreza driver's side seat belt squeak, I haven't really done much with it as far as mechanical work. It's about due for an oil and filter change- hopefully I'll get around to that before the snow flies.

Tim's latest- a '66 Reo cabover. He started out with a resin Diamond T cab and modified the grille to the Reo version. The gravel trailers are scratchbuilt.

Nice! Big rigs can be a little addictive so I will advise caution, but you'll have quite a bit of fun with them.
Now, back to those women figures... are the women depicted large, or just large scale...? I I mean, it's all good either way, just curious.

I hope so- she'll be weathered, but presentable.
