Tropical Turquoise looks good! Paul

I've done a few conversions on the Lone Star and Pro Star. I'll post a few up when I get to my real computer. Paul

Thanks, I have the trailer set from him, but used the trailer to do a Hurst Lone Star.

Fantastic job. The color is an interesting hue. Looks brown and green to me, off sets the shiny parts well.

I agree on the trailers, but now that we moved to a new house and the kids are gone, I'm doing a dedicated display room. But I build semis, oil field units, vintage rails and vintage funnycars. All take up space.

Welcome! Great group here, enjoy! Paul

Full wiring, and plumbing, added the AC compressor to the engine and add on air on the sleeper rear panel made from a Revell 1932 Ford Street Rod radiator and misc bits from the parts stash. Made up a GPS unit on the top of the rear panel. Made fender mirrors and converted to single stack. Stripped a lot of chrome for a fleet look. Decals are Modeltruckin. Paul

I'd be lost because the chassis is almost to detailed to cover, but an AA is never seen build in anything but 1/35 or 1/72 scale, so it does deserve a body. Could always make it a cut away factory display. Paul.

PPVintage takes time to answer but they DO answer. Sourkraut appears to only sell plastic now. Paul

Very well done models!! Many I've only heard of in the States. Thanks for posting them. Hope to see many more of your builds. Paul

Welcome to the group Rich!! Speed doesn't mean lack of quality, but the main thing is to please your self.
The AMT/ERTL decals should be good as long as the were not in a hot and damp area. I would pick up some Micro Scale Liquid Decal and brush on a coat just to be on the safe side, Just remember to trim close when you use them. Paul

Ton of little touches. Air extractors on hood sides, molded grill shell, quad lights. On the cab I enlarged the rear glass, made custom ram air cleaner. Stretched the chassis and machined a set of air line fittings into the frame cover.

Felt like doing something different than a tractor or a wrecker, so made a lumber delivery body. made up the truss load from bass wood with the straps made from ribbon from Wal Mart.

Made the bus into a Top Fuel team bus. Changed the interior around with kitchenette area, different seating and a Flat Screen TV. Made wooden flooring from 1/200 scale wooden ship mode deck coated with Clear Epoxy. The counter tops were painted Semi Black with stippled light grey and white for the Marble affect and coated with epoxy also. Paint is Diamond Black automotive lacquer.

Got a major part of the fitting done. Had to add 3/16" into the injector pump and split the intakes into 3 pieces to add fillers to lengthen them. Still need to blend in the added intake runners. Made 5 pieces to lengthen the exhaust manifolds and make pipes to feed the turbo. Modified a 6 cylinder oil pan to fit the engine too. All the holes are drilled for the injector lines, fuel system, compressor air and coolant lines and Turbo lube and drain line. Paul
