Had this and two other K.W.'s out of the case for dusting. Here is the Revel Kenworth K100. Chassis is stretched cab is 2 combines and the 16/92 was copied from a similar powered Bonneville F350 pick up truck racer Allison Automatic from Auslowe, Stacks are K&S Aero Struts for R/C aircraft. Decking is polished .010 roof valley sheathing. Decals are home made and paint is ancient Cal Custom Peach Pearl. Paul

All of the projects look good! Paul

Great kits, I grab them when ever I see them. I must have about 50 Michelin men and 25 of the Fruit of the Loom chefs. most every truck in Europe has at least 2 Michelin men on it some where.

After building one I found a few interesting things. The Utility Body fits all trucks with an 8 foot bed. BUT if you reverse the front and back ends it now will fit a 6 foot short bed truck.
Windshield install is trying, I found part of the issue is the thickness of the front 'A' pillars isn't consistent, the right side on both the 60's and 70's cabs is thicker. I sanded both down to be thinner, slightly radius-ed the side "gasket" on the windshield and from the front popped the top in and than slightly deflected the cowl (No firewall in place) and popped the bottom in from the front. Seems to work easier than the install from the back as per instructions. Worked on the 1965 and the 1970 kits. Paul

That is a beautiful build and the paint is great, I saw those all the time when I first went OTR. Golden age of trucking IMO. Paul

Moebius kit build to be from the time when Ford made OTR and farm tractors. Added full engine compartment details, made up dual exhaust because nothing sounds better than an 352 FE with glass packs! Paint is 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Yellow and decals are from 1970 F100 4x4 kit.
Tools in bed are scratch built. -

Good morning. It's Model Master Ultraviolet Pearl (!997 Ford color) lacquer rattle can.
Thanks I like it for my 1997 F150 kit.

Who makes the purple? Paul

Glad I'm not the only one who manages to get a bug or drop the painted part. :)

Excellent work! It looks real. Paul

Started this kits kind of half hardheartedly because the box art build made it look meh! Here it is after hiding in the AC all week end. Tires are a set of Shabo Desert Duelers I've had for ages. I shaved off the nubs on the wheels and added a .020 strip around the wheel to hold the tires. Paul

Beautiful job! It is one of my grail kits. The oil company my uncle worked at had these and Macks as their tanker home delivery units. Paul

Just now, 41CHEVY said:All done only one minor issue and I'm also having it in the 1970 F100 4x4. is the windshield fits so tight that I had to relieve the cab opening and sand the windshield flange area down. Like I said very minor.
Paint is Royal Blue enamel from Ace Hardware, bed wood is a decal from Gofer Decals and the tires are a direct fit off the AMT Crusin' Econoline van. PaulHosted on Fotki

Thanks. I did resist the impulse to correct the front spring units as they are coil overs not springs and separate shocks but decided that no one can see them when it's all assembled. Victory over OCD :) :)

Very nice, Never see Farm rigs like that in Maine. Nice work on the 6V53 and Dash. Paul

Got the chassis and engine done. Tires are from the AMT Econoline van and fit the Moebius rims perfectly. Added plumbing to the 240 c.i. six and used the optional chrome MoJoc's. Paul
