This started out as an AMT DM800. I Shortened the rear of the chassis and lengthened the front to move the axle forward. Narrowed the front axle 3/16 inch on both sides to move the tires in to the correct axle width. The DM nose was modified to make it taller and more slab sided and the cab was scratch built. The drum from the Rex was lengthened 1 3/4 inches.. Cab tilts to the side and hood/fender opens. First build I completed in our new home in Maine last fall. Paul

Each part was modified and tons added including back up alarm speaker on the rear.. Mixer was converted to Hydra Drive, Hood made workable, Fully detail on chassis and engine.

This is the AMT K.W. Alaskan Hauler done as a used abused Hill and Hill hauler. The weathering is mostly done with a mix of over brewed tea and Tamiya colors I made washes that I airbrushed. There also is some pastels and clear smoke for oil stains. Paul

Started out as a Paystar 5000. 90% of the cab is modifies from the kit cab and hood.
