Looks great so far!! I plan to build one of these in the future. Mine will be a straight front axle. I'm guessing that you're going independent in the front?

This one began with a resin cab from "Back Yard Shed" (I think). The frame rails are from Gary Wallace, The 6-71N Detroit is from Clint Freeman, the bed was modified from the AMT kit.

Thanks Guys!
I've got the boom done. It is not only longer than the AMT boom, but it's larger in diameter as well. I also made a larger multi-groove pulley for the rear.

This began with a resin cab. I believe it to be from back yard shed. The engine is an old Clint Freeman 6-71. The bed is a modified Big Stick from the AMT Peterbilt wrecker. Frame rails are fro Gary Wallace.

37 Chevrolet Road Tractor
in Model Truck Workbench
Posted
This is my new project. I've admired the work of Chuck Most for some time, and that inspired me to attempt an old barn find model. This one began with the AMT "Orange Blossom Special" and the Revell 41 Chevrolet kindly donated some parts too.
