Nice work on the engine!!

This is my new project. I've admired the work of Chuck Most for some time, and that inspired me to attempt an old barn find model. This one began with the AMT "Orange Blossom Special" and the Revell 41 Chevrolet kindly donated some parts too. It looks like this barn find may need some work. There's a box on the front seat with the starter, the distributor, the carb, the air cleaner, and some tools. There's a brand new valve cover gasket though. All of the spark plugs are out of the engine and there's a can of Marvel Mystery Oil, so the engine is probably stuck. Maybe that's why there's a For Sale sign in the box too. Thanks Paul!!

Thanks Casey! Thanks Chuck!! This cab has some real issues out of the box. I made the windshield taller, I took some of the slope out of the side windows, I added 3mm to the rear bottom of the front fenders. Admiring your many weathered trucks, I thought that I would give it a try. Thanks Paul, I never thought of that.

Thanks!

Looking forward to seeing this one!!

Looks great so far!! I plan to build one of these in the future. Mine will be a straight front axle. I'm guessing that you're going independent in the front?

This began with a resin cab. I believe it to be from back yard shed. The engine is an old Clint Freeman 6-71. The bed is a modified Big Stick from the AMT Peterbilt wrecker. Frame rails are fro Gary Wallace.
