Post up your build in WIP Big Rigs, so we can follow along. Fun to watch the builds come together.

Yes, I’m trying to save the chrome grill/hood ornament at the same time. The kit has the wrong suspension, the sleeper is a real pain, the fuel tanks where crap and so on. Kinda why I stopped working on it and gathered a new plan

What’s back on the bench? This is a build I started earlier this year and just wasn’t happy with how it was coming together. I picked up another T600 kit, photo etched Kenworth stuff and some other items. Using the new cab without fairings so I can put exhaust stacks on , opened up the grill to add screen behind the openings. Going to remove the molded in Kenworth logos, repaint cab and hood. Did get the engine built. So yup, two steps back to start over.

Got a couple of your 1:25 cabs already, welcome aboard

I have noticed a lot of really detailed parts for 1:14 scale trucks on the market. That market seems to be growing a lot these days. I might build one of that scale some day.

I build all my trucks so that no axle turns and agree that is just an accident waiting to happen especially when the grandkid’s are nearby. I do the same but use solid plastic axles and I use Moebius wheelset most of the time. Before glueing the tire/wheel combo on, I will take the time to rotate them, mark them so they all line up well and make contact to the flat surface. Takes time, but to see a finished rig with an inside dual hanging in the air just looks strange.

Thanks, need to finish the lights, jacks and air line mount on the trailer, not a lot of work but gotta get done.

Thanks, see how it works with trailer, still figuring it out.
