I agree. You’re fab skills are amazing!
-
Thank you. I thought about that for the bumper. That may be the direction I lean towards.
-
Great work! Can’t wait to see more updates.
-
Love the quote, by the way.
-
Thank you. I will see what the bumper looks like after some weathering.

Haven’t had much time this weekend to sit at the workbench. Here are a few updated pictures. Not happy with the front bumper and will probably change it out. One everything is attached, I will add some more dirt and a little mud here and there. The final step will be a very thin topcoat of dust to tie it all together.

Nice kit. Let us know if you have any questions.

If it’s a plastic model, I use Tamiya super thin. There are many different types to choose from. -
Yes it is. I glanced through the site yesterday. Lots of great information. I will definitely be using the site for an upcoming fully wired and plumbed build.

Very sharp! The paint job is very cool.

What a great looking model! Your scratch building skills are off the charts.
-
Thanks! All of the glass is in and drying. Interior is finished, ready to go in. I will be posting more pictures soon.

Hello guys, I think there is validity to your discussion. Being a newer site member, I enjoy viewing all the builds and learning from everyone. It can be frustrating when pictures are posted but no one comments. We definitely need to be more active and you can count me in. Creating more content may entice more traffic. This forum is a great way to share our passion for the hobby regardless of skill level.

She is complete. I painted the cb antennas and polished the body to remove decal glue and fingerprints.

Thank you.

Thanks, Casey. Here are a few build updates. Weathering is complete. Starting the track build and weathering. All of the track pin holes had to be drilled out. It took about 3 hours to build both sets of tracks. -
Thanks Casey. Please excuse the typo. At least I got it right on the workbench page.

A quick update. Letting the decals set for the rest of the day. Decals were fiddly as they were still brittle even after a clear coat. I have a couple places to touch up after they dry. The headlights were already broken and I have glued , broken, and re-glued these back on at least twice per side.

Latest build to add to the shelf. The kit went together well. I built it box stock and used the kit supplied decals.

The truck looks very sharp! Love the look of these style Fords.
