Nice! Real nice weathering on the wheels.

If it turns out well, I am thinking of casting the hood, grill, and headlights. I will need a few for some other builds and if there is interest, I'll make them available to others.

Thought I would share the W900l (circa '96) hood I am working on for the snap KW. Hopefully I will wind up with something passable.
Since the W900L grill is narrower, I cut a section out of the center of the hood and the grill (not pictured).
To ensure that the correct width was maintained at the back of the hood a cut a section from the rear of another hood.
The rear portion of the other hood was glued to the rear of the hood and the hood sides have been extended using sheet styrene. In the image above, the fenders have been widened using the outer portion of the other hood's fenders, the headlight "pods" have been removed and filled and the raised portion on the top of the hood has been removed.
What's left of the original hood and the new hood.
Working on the crowned strip down the center of the hood.
Thanks for looking! Feedback is always encouraged and appreciated.

Just laid some paint on my full fender master. A little clear and some final "slicking up" and I will be ready to make the mold. I'm hoping to finish them in time for the new year.

Definitely different and definitely cool! A lot of nice touches on this one and the floor, wow! I can't wait to see what else you share.

I have made a little progress. The frame has been assembled and the base color has been applied to the motor and trans.
I also finished up the grill work save some minor touch-up on the black.
Lastly, I have decided on a paint scheme.

Another high quality build.

Oddly enough, I picked up a beater as well, a 2002 GMC Sierra 4x4 z71 with 280K on it. Replaced the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, oil pump, rear trans seal and one of the front differential seals. I'm Happy to report that it is leak free and running like a top. Otherwise, a couple of college classes, honey-do's and work have kept me away from the bench and the site. Hopefully, I'm back for a bit.

Very cool. Looks like a real working truck. What did you paint the tanks with? They look like real aluminum tanks!

Very cool. I like the way you carried the stripe down the tanks and the visor is sweet. Thanks for sharing!

I would love to get my hands on one of those kits. Please keep us updated on your progress.

I like it. My uncle owned a R700L years ago. I rode many a mile in it and have loved them ever sense. Please keep up updated. I would be very interested to see what's involved in mounting the cab and hood to the frame.

Very cool. I love the weathering and the 105 is awesome. Looks like something out of Mad Max.

As you know, I am in love with this thing. Can't wait for an update!

Just ordered some. Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing. Someone told me about those a while back but I forgot the name. Which do you recommend for cabs/sleepers?

I replaced the rear fender section to get rid of the flat spot that the A model fenders have and to widen the side of the fender near the rear. Fill, sanding and fine tuning continues. The trick will be to replicate my work on the other side.
