I found these in my stockpile of magazines. Sections of Car Modeler and Scale Auto Enthusiast for the truck modeler. I saw a post here a few weeks ago about engine detailing and dug these out. They are from March 97-March 98.

Next up on the workbench is the Pete 359 from Revell. I bought this kit as a parts build. It came with a resin Marmon conventional and high rise sleeper. Not sure the direction the kit will go. I will figure that out as the build goes. This build will be my last truck kit for a little. I have a couple WWII Tiger tanks I need to finish.

Here is the next project. It has been built for months. Needed to complete the camouflage paint, weather and build the Fruil tracks. The weathering and paint is complete. Need to build the tracks and weather them. I know this isn’t typical for these pages, just wanted to share another passion of my modeling. The kit depicts Wittmans last Tiger in Europe after DDay.

Thank you. The kit had the molded on zimmerit. That was my first set of Fruil tracks and I will definitely use them again. I have a UHU. In my stash. Hope to see pics if you have time. -

Looks great so far. I have a couple of the logging trailers that I would like to build. But then there’s that Kenworth that I’m dying to build, and the Peterbilt, and I can’t forget the Lonestar and.......Lol!

Thank you. The metal tracks lay beautifully on the road wheels and give the model some weight. I have used resin single link track, magic track, and one piece track before but this was my first attempt at Fruil tracks. I would definitely use them again. -
