Mack R-Model Hammill Construction
Brian Dutz replied to DRIPTROIT 71's topic in Model Truck Show Room
Great looking bills, Brian! Love the plumbing too! -
Really sharp looking build! The colors go together well. You can find the material in a few different places. Evergreen.com, Hobby Lobby, and plastruct are a few places to start. Hope that helps.

Thank you. The decals really tested my patients.

I’ve had his one tucked away for awhile. Didn’t think I would finish it though. Lots of issues, all of my own doing. Finally, I was able to find the time and put on the final details.

Thank you. I agree, this type of paint scheme looks cool. Thinking about doing a few more in different colors.
-
Thank you. The kit I used was the 1/25 Tyrone Malone Papa Truck. The frame was shortened 61mm.
-
Thanks Brian!

Here is my last finished build. I’ve had the kit for awhile. Fairly straightforward build.
-
Thanks. The decals came with the kit.

Really looks great, Brian. Love the colors and the single axle. Fine job! -
Calling these finished. Trailer marker lights are CTM. Various sets of decals were used on the builds. Mig powders were used for the weathering along with various oils and acrylic paint.

Thanks Brian! An International dozer would have been an awesome addition. -

City of LA Dozer, lowboy, and International fire rig
Brian Dutz posted a topic in Model Truck Workbench
Started this build at the beginning of the year. I saw a picture of the real unit on Pinterest and thought it would make a good project. I have the trailer finished except for the chain mounts. Waiting for the final resting place on the bed for the dozer. The dozer is weathered, just need to add the finishing touches. The international is painted, just patiently waiting it’s turn in the process. The truck will not be as weathered as the rest of the equipment. -
Thanks Brian. I am very interested in your pusher build. Can’t wait to see the progress.

To be on the workbench for 2022
Brian Dutz replied to Jersee Jerry55's topic in Model Truck Workbench
Great thread. My plans are (so far)😁. current build is a new release 4070 as an LA City FD truck with lowboy and dozer. The build is moving along great so far. I will post a build thread soon.. 2nd build will be the latest release of the Ford snow plow built as a standard semi. 3rd build will be the American Lafrance bucket truck with a Mack cab instead of the kit cab. 4th build plan is a Mack Superliner. from there I have many plans but the wife is wanting to do many projects to our new house so we will have to see.
