Brian Dutz Posted April 24, 2020 My wife challenged me to weather a truck model like I do my AFVs. Here are some pics of the AMT Kenworth K-123 on the workbench. Challenge accepted!!

discodave Posted April 25, 2020 Shiny ones are cool, dirty ones look like they make money. Looks great so far.
Brian Dutz Posted April 25, 2020 Thanks! All of the glass is in and drying. Interior is finished, ready to go in. I will be posting more pictures soon.
Brian Dutz Posted April 26, 2020 Haven’t had much time this weekend to sit at the workbench. Here are a few updated pictures. Not happy with the front bumper and will probably change it out. One everything is attached, I will add some more dirt and a little mud here and there. The final step will be a very thin topcoat of dust to tie it all together. Brian Dutz Posted April 27, 2020 Thank you. I will see what the bumper looks like after some weathering.

DRIPTROIT 71 Posted April 28, 2020 I like it! If you're not happy with the bumper you may consider making it a shorty bumper since you're going for the fleet look. Nice work!
Brian Dutz Posted April 28, 2020 Thank you. I thought about that for the bumper. That may be the direction I lean towards.
Brian Dutz Posted April 30, 2020 After several weeks on the road, this tired Kenworth is ready for a little maintenance and a good cleaning.
