Brian Dutz Posted April 1, 2020 Next up on the workbench is the Pete 359 from Revell. I bought this kit as a parts build. It came with a resin Marmon conventional and high rise sleeper. Not sure the direction the kit will go. I will figure that out as the build goes. This build will be my last truck kit for a little. I have a couple WWII Tiger tanks I need to finish. Brian Dutz Posted April 5, 2020 Here are a few updated pictures. Chrome trim is complete along with engine and chassis. You can see one of my Tigers in progress in the back. Also, I have included a picture of the Marmon resin kit that was included in the purchase.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted April 5, 2020 Looks Great! What are you going to do with the Marmon?
Brian Dutz Posted April 6, 2020 Thank you. I’m not sure. I did a test fit on the Pete chassis yesterday and it looked awesome. I have several of the International conventionals so I may add the Marmon to that chassis. I would need to plan the build a little better to get tanks and steps t line up properly. Brian Dutz Posted April 8, 2020 Here are a couple pictures of the progress I made last night. I will start the decal process next.
Brian Dutz Posted April 10, 2020 A quick update. Letting the decals set for the rest of the day. Decals were fiddly as they were still brittle even after a clear coat. I have a couple places to touch up after they dry. The headlights were already broken and I have glued , broken, and re-glued these back on at least twice per side.
