41CHEVY Posted July 13, 2019 After building one I found a few interesting things. The Utility Body fits all trucks with an 8 foot bed. BUT if you reverse the front and back ends it now will fit a 6 foot short bed truck. Windshield install is trying, I found part of the issue is the thickness of the front 'A' pillars isn't consistent, the right side on both the 60's and 70's cabs is thicker. I sanded both down to be thinner, slightly radius-ed the side "gasket" on the windshield and from the front popped the top in and than slightly deflected the cowl (No firewall in place) and popped the bottom in from the front. Seems to work easier than the install from the back as per instructions. Worked on the 1965 and the 1970 kits. Paul Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
