DRIPTROIT 71

GMC 7500 Spreader Truck

Recommended Posts

This one was built out of junk, Evergreen Styrene, and Plastruct. The resin cab was in terrible shape with several spots that had never cured. The engine is a 6v-53 Detroit made by cutting down an 8v-71 and fabricating new heads and valve covers closer to what a 53 series would have. The bed is completely scratch built,

Very nice, Never see Farm rigs like that in Maine. Nice work on the 6V53 and Dash.   Paul

Thanks! It's curbside, but I still wanted the engine in it. I hope to build a better detailed 6v-53 one day.
