DRIPTROIT 71 Posted September 11, 2018 This one is going to be kind of a hot rod almost rat rod type of build. The engine is a 4-71 Detroit made by cutting down the Spaulding 6-71. The Transmission is out of the Ertl Transtar II kit. The frame is one that I picked up off of Ebay already assembled, (never buy a frame already assembled). The frame was originally an AMT R Model Mack frame, the rear air leaf is from the Peterbilt snap kit, and the drive axles are from an AMT Road Boss kit. dsldriver Posted September 14, 2018 Looks great! Especially the cab with the door signs. My Dad had a similar truck about 30 years ago. It had a flathead Lincoln V-8 in it.
