DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 21, 2018 This is my new project. I've admired the work of Chuck Most for some time, and that inspired me to attempt an old barn find model. This one began with the AMT "Orange Blossom Special" and the Revell 41 Chevrolet kindly donated some parts too. Casey Posted August 22, 2018 Lookin' good! When I get settled in my new place, I think I will give a similar project a shot. --Casey
Cornbinder Posted August 23, 2018 Best use I've seen for the old Orange Blossom cab. I need to do an F-600 barn find one of these days.
41CHEVY Posted August 23, 2018 Very nice work and great concept! I my humble opinion a set of wheel sanders would be a perfect period touch. Paul

I made the windshield taller, I took some of the slope out of the side windows, I added 3mm to the rear bottom of the front fenders. Admiring your many weathered trucks, I thought that I would give it a try. 9 minutes ago, 41CHEVY said: Very nice work and great concept! DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 23, 2018 It looks like this barn find may need some work. There's a box on the front seat with the starter, the distributor, the carb, the air cleaner, and some tools. There's a brand new valve cover gasket though. All of the spark plugs are out of the engine and there's a can of Marvel Mystery Oil, so the engine is probably stuck. Maybe that's why there's a For Sale sign in the box too.
